About me
My name is Emily and I survived the MCAT… you can too!
MedStudyNotes was born during my journey preparing for the MCAT. I struggled a lot in the beginning and started creating my own study notes just to keep myself on track. These notes not only helped me succeed, but have since supported thousands of MCAT students in making prep a little more manageable.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, know this—you’re not alone. The MCAT is mentally and emotionally draining. I truly hope these clean, clear, and structured guides help you stay organized and confident as you work through all the information, because trust me, there’s a LOT of it!
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions, need guidance, or just want to hear from someone who’s been through it. The struggle is part of the growth. We’re training for medical school, for a career where focus and persistence matter more than ever, and that’s incredibly meaningful.

I've been in your shoes
MCAT prep can feel lonely.
It’s not something that’s talked about a lot, but it should be. In those moments of uncertainty and doubt, when you’re buried under endless material and practice questions, it can feel isolating.
I remember sitting at my desk during the first weeks of MCAT prep thinking,
“Do other students feel as overwhelmed as I do?”
and
“Maybe I’m not cut out for this.”
If I can offer you any encouragement, it’s this:
You are NOT alone!
Every single MCAT student has felt this way at some point, and you’re stronger and more capable than you think.

The Challenge Makes You Stronger
It’s not an easy thing.
In fact, it may be one of the most challenging things you’ll ever face in your academic journey. Now, looking back, I realize how much I grew in those long study hours and moments of doubt.
I grew in my discipline, my critical thinking, my ability to process complex science, my time management, and so much more.
So next time you feel the growing pains of MCAT prep, remember this: you’re not just studying for an exam, you’re becoming the future doctor you’ve always dreamed of being.
You got this, future MD!
